Peters Textile Printers
My name is Peter Baloyi and I am a founder of a company called PETERS TEXTILE PRINTERS registered as PETEXT PRINTERS which was founded in 1986. It is a 100% black owned company and started its operation at Orlando West Industrial Park (a business hub in Soweto Township). Petext Printers is a very successful company that is well established in the printing and manufacturing industry. The company had so far provided food on the table to different people and organizations including its’ stuff members. Some of its formers workers had so far grown up and started their own companies.
The company specializes in printing and embroidery on promotional and awareness items such as; T-shirts, Tracksuits, Banners, Belts, Jerseys, Caps, Aprons, Table cloths, Flags, Signs, Flyers, Posters, stickers, Coffee mugs and other promotional materials. We also provide stationery services which include invitations, event programmes, business cards, invoices, quotations, emblems/logos, letterheads, typesetting, photocopying and laminations.
Challenges Being Faced During COVID-19
On the 3rd October 2019 a unit next to ours was gutted by fire and it spilled over to my company and destroyed all my equipment and important documents including customer’s items and unfortunately nothing was saved. It is frustrating that I just survived recent disasters of fire blazes on my business premises and now have to deal with the effects of the pandemic’s economic impact.
While concerned about the impact of the financial loss of the Shutdown for 21 days plus the now added two weeks, I nevertheless remain resolute in our understanding of the need to prioritize health measures, by saving of lives and following protocol by remaining indoors and practicing social distancing to avoid the spread of contraction of the Corona Virus.
I therefore felt it will be proper to seek help from SAve a Business so that I can continue rebuilding the company again. Printing equipment is very expensive and without new clients, we are unable to progress forward.
